there is a law about 12" min but i don't know if that applies to county roads.
there was zero snow on RE this afternoon, so skip there....they enforce that law on RE and it could reflect poorly on our sport.

Yes, they do. They love to sit in the lots and wait for the retards to come back and rightly so. It's those people that make it bad for the rest of us. I know, I have the itch to ride as much as the rest of you all but be patient. It'll get here soon enough. I never ride until there is at least 3' of base. Less than that equals broken sleds and I hate buying parts because of stupidity. Any less than 3' and you can't do what you wanna do anyways and riding roads is only good for some tuning. That takes 2 hours if you are lazy.

I'm still saying first REAL ride is in December. FYI, calling for temps in the 70s today.

Its dumping at my house, so I bet its snowing pretty good up on VP... Anyone been up there today? I'm driving over there tomorrow on my way to the Denver show, so I can check it out then... Anytime now!!

Drove over VP today - out and back. On the way out, at ~11am, it was brown near the highway, dusting ~1000' up. On the way back, at about 4pm, the dusting came down to the highway.

Dusting, though. Nowhere near enough. Bah, but it is a start!
