just curious...being in school i find im really holding myself back this season...would like to hit alot of stuff but have to stop myself.

what about you guys?

what stops you from doing crazy stuff?

wrecking your sled or just dont have the guts haha

first time in the hills this year. First it was balls keeping me back, then they grew some.

Then it was watching a borrowed sled roll down a hill that made my balls shrink and made my eyes see money.

So once I'm on my own sled I'm sure it will be balls for awhile again and then hopefully I say F it and don't worry about wrecking.

I like to push my sled and skills, I really dont worry too much about either (maybe I should now that I'm 44!) (not that I go really big or anything), but I jump roads and cornice drops that the majority of riders pass on!

So i'd boil it down to common sense, if it looks like I have a chance at making it, or the landing is "soft" I try it. Suprizingly when you find yourself in the chit there is usually a way out, just requires deep breathing if you know what I mean!!

spomey

Most of the time for me, it's "How long will it take me to fix ____ if I break it?" If it'd take more than a week, that means I won't be riding the next weekend.... which means i'll pass for now.

live to ride another day.........no second chances on life....

plus Im pu$$y when compared to what peps are pulling off on sleds these days...
and yea cant afford buying sleds every year either

so both and like said before commen sense sets in, is it worth it???

money...if I could afford to buy a new sled every time I wrecked and didn't have to worry about missing work if injured then I would definitely ride harder.

Had some big huevos last year...... and I pretty much totaled my 08 XP twice = ~$6K in parts with me fixing it, couldn't imagine what it would've cost if a dealer fixed it. So, this year ill take an extra 2 seconds to decide if it's worth it! The good news is nothing yet this year, but I prolly just blew that by adding this post!

common sense... but if your talking about crazy climbs up chutes. 1. i don't have the power on my sled to pull it off. 2. I prefer life. Don't want to die in an avy. I'm only 19 I have a lot of life ahead of me

Don't like to trash my $h!t
No one's payin me to get hurt
Sleddings fun but I don't feel like dying

Lots of fun to be had without getting carried away....I'm not out to impress anyone
