What do you all think this passage means and is getting at?

Just read it in a book and I'm thinking on it and am curious what others think.

"Do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with your God."

you can't really ask that question to other people because to everyone it will mean something different. It can easily misinterpreted and misconstrewed to basically fit anyone's agenda.

I believe most passages are written with such ambiguity to inspire us to take
the effort & thought process to "feel" what is written.
