Truck bed ski rack/tie-down system

New sled-access skier here. I'm currently transporting the sled in the truck bed with the tailgate down. Curious if anyone has a solution for securing skis in the truck bed alongside the sled. Concern of course is the skis sliding out the back of the open tailgate. Am I over-thinking this? Do you just leave skis attached to the sled's ski rack, or is there a better way? Thanks.

Yes. Leave them in the sled's ski rack.
