What did you learn this sledding year?

Now that is toooo funny!!

But with it being summer and all, is it technically something you learned "this" season, or "next" season?

You might be ahead of the game going into the next season :thumb:

I learned that Christopher doesn't know the difference between a guy and a girl....I mean I had a feeling....but......

i learned that having a girlfriend cuts into your riding time:face-icon-small-fro:hurt:
really??

Mine is my most consistant riding partner, she always shows up, and the lunch is always better when she packs it.. when I go riding its just junk.. when she comes, its like eating at a deli... NOM NOM NOM

also learned.. finish building the sled before winter comes.. In a full custom setup, if you think its done in september.. odds are it will be done by may.

and another. dont drive to fast down really bump dirt roads... or its a long slow drive home...

We need to find someone who lives near this guy to make sure his sled is broken down EARLY in the season, and then needs regular repairs all season long. :face-icon-small-hap

Oh don't worry about that, with the year I have had breaking stuff I'm sure I don't need any help. Let's see 2 pickups, 1 jetski, mutiple issues on the tractor, won't even touch the atv anymore......

Just a heads up, it will be an early winter since my sled isn't back together yet... that and the fact that the elk are already bulging in the 'horns.

Well take your time puting that sled back together, i want a good season this year.

I learned that Wyoming guys have the best "one liners" in the world!! Those dudes had me laughing so hard I almost pee'ed my pants. The riding was awesome, but the company will keep me going back for more!

This was a great year for me and learned alot. I have learned that if your second guessing your self going in to something then your more likely to end up FUBAR in a tree someplace. Dedicate and adapt...

My sled turns going down hill... I have always hated climbing with anything beneath me cause I always feel like I don't have any control down steep hills. This year I even perfected a steep down hill turn and yank it around into a side hill.

I finally masterd the re-entrie. also worked on a good whip, and some good heel clickers. Just like said before confidence is key, you have to have a good mindset or your just gunna f-up .made it into two videos this year, Extream Team and Ten High. still trying to get 100% confident on my IQR. Also learned that switching from one chassie to another in late january isnt the best idea especialy when your used to boosted mountain sled then jump to a race sled lol.

where in wyoming did you find awesome riding?

I learned that there isn't a single sled mod that will improve your riding like being in better athletic condition...

Spent some time with Allen Mangum, Tyler and Dan Adams this year and my good friend Steve (STC)....
Learned a lot from those guys.

Getting the health back to normal has been a push, but I'm on it!...

I learned how to ride with less effort and keep the sled on edge for most of the day.

I learned that no matter how much effort u put into turning a 900 polaris it still wants to go straight for the trees!:hurt:

You WY guys weren't finding snow last year??? It was a fantastic year in southern WY. Some of the deepest pow days I've ever seen up there (4ft +).

This year I learned that you CAN ride 18" of powder 1/2 way into June if you play the weather just right and are persistent :face-icon-small-coo

If you leave the brake locked on long enough, and go fast enough, you can start a sled on fire.
Also, MTNPull is pretty cool, even if you burn up his sh*t.

I learned that I can't afford to keep buying a new sled every year.

I learned that I value snowmobiling more than my job except for when I need to pay bills

I learned that no matter what kind of sled I have someone will claim to have a better one.

I learned that there are a lot of people trying to take away our riding land and there are not near enough snowmobiling people that care enough to join the fight.
