What are you guys paying for 2010 M8s?

Glenn - I liked yours when we rode last year, soooooooo......I just bought a 2010 162 M8 Sno-Pro. 303 miles (16.5 hrs).....Included cover, spare belt, shovel and 1.5 yr warranty left for $8K......Happy times.....

Paid 11g's for a 162 SP with 80 miles on it and over $2,000 in after market parts unused, plus 2 gallons of cat oil and 2 extra belts.

162's seam much harder to find these days. Glad I got one. Its a hill climbing beast.

stop bragging!

This is the 2nd time I have had ur deal rubbed in my face! ARG! These sleds shouldn't be so $$$$$! At least I wish they weren't. $8500 for an 2010 and I had a guy just yesterday tell me he'd sell his 2009 m8 162 w/ '10 seat, and 1400mi for $6200! Is it really worth $2300?

My dealer told me that the factory did not have any 2010 M8 left overs so no great deals on the 2010's - Most years the left overs get discounted to the dealers and they pass the savings along to the consumer. Looks like Cat stopped overbuilding so the value on a 1yr old sled will hold versus dropping 30% in one year.

Yamaha did the same thing with the Nytro.............Doo went crazy with the production and wants to dump the 800's cheap due to the E-tech coming out........

At least if you live in the northwest you can find a decent deal on nice sleds. Around here there does not seem to be any used ones for sale and with the season pretty well over it does not pay to drive 2000 miles just to save $500 on a sled! Can't seem to destroy the old KK anyway, so I guess I'll keep going until it doesn't!

Hcr's r by far the cheapest, which speaks to me. I am also in the market for a 2010. This is what I have found.
HCR $7500-8000 but a lot of these are higher mile sleds

The others are ranging from $7500-$9000 depending on 162/153 or sp/std and on how much warranty left.

Anything with low miles is higher. I haven't bought one yet b/c u can buy a new 162 sp for $9700

HCR's are cheap for two reasons. 1-as you stated they usually have high miles, 2-they come from racers and usually have no warranty, even if they were not raced.

The HCR is a tough sled. I have my 2010 listed for $7500 because of the 2 factors above. I have already had 3 calls on it after listing it yesterday...

As for cats being spendy... Popular items bring higher prices

Great sleds!
