What are you goals for the 2013 Season?

I want to feel the sun on my face as I cruise through 2' of new snow, carve lazy turns and memorize the views on my mountain. I want to watch Orion spin across the sky as I sit around Carls firepit and drink rum all night. I want to watch my daughter ride with her young friends and make all the dumb mistakes we did years ago. You can always buy another hood. I want to watch my wife ride her new to her 1200 IQR and see the big grin on her face. I do not want to ever again see anyone get hurt. The mountains are the only place left in this world that I can feel free. Thats why I ride.

That's pretty inspirational there Jay! tough act to follow.

I hope to enjoy all that the mountains have to offer, surrounded with good friends!

I want all the above to take place on the west side of the valley at leased one time!!

I'll get there, just show me the way. By the way, it really is snowing right now.

Embarrass some guys on their cats.
Impress some hot chicks.
Not completely destroy the new sled.
Do a little dance in my big blue mono suit.
Eat the really good pizza at that bar in Cooke City till I puke.
And get it all on video :face-icon-small-hap

Mine would be to do a downhill to uphill powerturn with out diffuculty, This is the most important manuever I need to learn, I catch myself droppin or following buddies down into some difficult places and having try to turn the sled around on an offcamber slope time after time without having to keep goin deeper and farther down just to turn around is a pain in the ---, It would be so awesome to just layit over throttle in and whip her around and back up I go about anywhere i want, thats my biggest goal...

I`m hoping my Skistance change to 35.5 and ski change will help me out.

Also not go over or land my stomach on the handle bars did that a couple times last season, knocks the wind right out of ya..

And hopefully no breakdowns or have to towing out.

Wildcard

Everyone has some good goals, the downhill and uphill turns sounds like a popular one definetly is a fun but tricky one. I want to be able to keep up with the pros :bounce:

This is my second season of riding and although I am happy with my progression, this may be the last full season I have living in the mountains and want to take advantage of it.

I want to work up the balls to do stuff again. Last year I had sled issues mid season and lost all confidence to try any decent hill climb. Made me think I got lucky making what I did. This year I have a new Pro so I want to gain that back, but I know a part of it is stuck in my mind.

Sidehilling - I am fairly weak at it, can't hold a line for two long or do anything that steep. I need to fix this.

U-Turns both Up & Down Hill, I've got myself in trouble because of my lack of ability to do these.

Jumps/Drops - I'm not going to be in any video's anytime soon, but I'd like to be able to hit some smaller drops & jumps where more than my ski's leave the ground.

Elevator/Downhill Slide - Watching Schooled 4 really makes me want to learn how to do this, but I doubt it will happen this year as my technical ability isn't there yet.

1500 Miles - Last year I did 1000 with-out really trying.

I want to continue pushing myself in the technical steep tree riding. And I want to get better at jumping.

I am wanting to pull as many as the big shoots up in REVY (and other destinations) as I can. Did a few last year, but on a new sled I had some bugs to work out. Should be good to go this season!

my goal is to not have to tow anyone back to the truck this year...pretty impossible goal though

Specially if you have any Pros in the group... :P lol
Any 800 with more than 1500 miles will lose an engine. And any 13 with more than 100 miles will lose a drive shaft.
;)

I'm lookin to try some "elevator" maneuvers..
And continue to stick to the side of hills with 1 ski. :)

Edit: LOL negative feedback? grow up. i'm pro Pro n all they've really changed the game, but they have issues..stop being oblivious. gl fanboi.

My goal is to ride over 4000 miles this winter. Also have 30 or more chutes I want to climb. Irmens arm and Gibbs gash are on top of the list oh and the 90.
