What’s Next?

I agree it's a photo shop job. Just wanted to stir the pot a bit.

Also very surprised Polaris hasn't teased anything yet. I'm sure a change is coming in the way of a new chassis, shortened tunnel, and possibly a turbo. They're due.

It does look like what they will come with but the back of the tunnel is a hair different than on page 6. The little photos were to blurry to zoom in. They won't come with a turbo is my bet. Sell it to everyone the next year after they already upgraded to a new chassis. A new chassis will keep everyone happy for a year. I wouldn't doubt they will put the regular gauge in for a year and make the big one an accessory. Something to entice people for another year. Can't give people everything or there is nothing for the next year, other than bng, and people are mad.

You're going to have to call me wrong for the marketing reasons I suggested. It also will not be 11 psi. Too much heat and too many problems to be a warrantied turbo. I could see more boost to keep it from diving off over 8000 feet. Most of my riding is 9000. I do believe it will be more than doo and then the hp war will begin. If it is the same people buy them because they like handling. Can't imagine 5 hp would make any difference but people do buy by the numbers.

A riding buddy of mine has to add a gallon or two of race gas on his 850 boondocker agility kit set at 5-7 lbs riding at 10000, thats with their low compression head. It runs very good.....but Im not buying the factory will have 11 lbs.

Only problem with what you are saying is you would still be looking at a 12-14k kids sled, and not alot of people want to spend that much on something like that

I would.

Add the "wives" in there and I think they would move many many 600 144 machines if they weight 3-5 pounds less than the 155 version instead of 70 pounds more. Ski Doo has no problem making a 600 146 and it fits right in there perfectly with the rest of their lineup. Polaris is just being dummy heads.

This is my bet also, just move the RMK to the new chassis and call it good. Too many supply chain and manufacturing issues right now, on top of most dealers being completely out of inventory. Realistically all of the manufacturers could just do BNG for next year and still run the assembly lines at full tilt to try to keep up with demand and re-stock dealers.

Doo releasing early, and all of the leaks on the cat stuff, means Polaris knows what they need to do to maintain market share, keep the customers happy and still show some innovation. Anything more than that is extra, they know it and we know it, even if we don't like it. If demand for new and used sleds this year wasn't sky high, and production limited, then maybe more new tech would have been needed/warranted.

Look closely, it's a total Photoshop.
I knew it was a total photoshop but is probably close to what they come with minus the turbo graphics. It has matryx bars and riser. It also has the snow flap rolled up which would be a cool way to have the flap and no flap if it lifted up and clipped into the bumper. It wouldn't be stiff enough though, if it rolled up. I'm betting the photos on page 6 are legit. That will be the back. The photoshopped sleds front with the rmk bars and hooks. It will have a different gauge with the ability to upgrade to the high dollar gauge. They will save things to spice up future snow checks. Turbo for 23 is my bet. Hope it's close to as narrow as my wife's kaos with skinz tank. Won't be enough for me to upgrade but I'm sure it will be cool. The shorter tunnel will do her absolutely nothing other than run hotter.

I'm guessing they will use most of the AXYS chassis but put on the Matryx body parts (panels and seat) to make it narrower in the middle. The electronic options will be off the matryx. Marketing - lighter, more narrower, most capable, most flickatronic mountain sled ever. Snowcheck will have a bunch of options that you can't get otherwise (shocks, colors, graphics). In the end, it will not be much different than the current AXYS (engine and handling), other than the narrower body part.

So this thread is only two pages for me (I'm using different settings).
What's the post number from your page 6?

Wow - I just talked to my dealer who is also a personal friend and he is being SUPER tight lipped. Last year he told me about the series 8 track well in advance, this year he isn't saying anything. Polaris must have put the fear of God into them. He did not make a single comment about what's coming he just said you'll find out on March 1st and don't snow check any other brand yet. And he knows I am not a turbo guy (although it is fun to speculate about the new turbo! )

So, it'll be interesting to see what's coming!

Something is wrong with his tune or he was sent the wrong head. Should be able to push that without race gas no problem.

Could be but after talking to several people with the same kit it needing “a splash” sound fairly common......
