I have to say, I'm surprised.... seems like all I ever read in here are threads/posts for Baker and Gold Creek by the west siders... lol... just neat to see where everyone is from

I'd ride outta tampico a lot if I could but the 4 hour drive from Seattle is a bit much...

Ya from the west side it is shorter to come in from the 1000 rd off white pass been doing it for years and theirs alot of play areas on the way.

I'm still trying to figure out why it takes so long to get here. Got a bud that comes over from Covington, takes 2 plus hours to get to my place west of Yakima on the way to the snowpark. That trip down to hiway 12 and over white cant be an easy one.

12 and the roads that lead up to it are very slow and winding.

weird... 12 and white pass are all 60mph over here From Yakima, Tampico isnt all that far, but it is kinda windy.. about 30-40 mins to the snow park once you get through town

I don't know, when I went to White Pass from Fall City, it was a long trip and it seemed really slow going getting close to 12 on the west side.

can't say, I havent been to the west side over hwy 12 since I was about 12, lol

Yeah 4 hours is probably an exaggaration on my part it's probably closer to 3 though. Heck it takes 2+hours to get to crackima. Either way too far for a day trip for me.

Just moved from oregon to ellensburg and am looking forward to riding blewett and all over the place over there. Ive lived on the west side and have ridden snoq. and baker a bunch but cant wait for the east side.
