Welcome Back! (to me!!) Rev Questions....

After a 7 year break from sleds, we just picked up a couple '07 REV's. 800 Summit XRS 151 for me and a 600 Renegade 136 for the wife. Previous sleds were a '04 summit 800 151 and '05 renegade 600 136. Guess we liked them.

I'm working on re-educating myself, but hopefully the collective can clear up a few questions for me.

Is the nun bracing still an issue for 2007 models? Tunnel bracing?

Ideas on why the previous owner installed these switches on the left handle? Should I keep them or replace with stock? I've seen people mention moving the switches to the console, maybe I should do that instead?

What is the interchangeability of plastics with '07? I'm not digging the yellow and blue, would like to change it to black but don't want to buy panels off an '06 or '04 and find out they wont fit.

Plastic will interchange. Biggest issue with 07 was the motor. Hope motor was updated.

I have a total of three, of which I trying to sell one. There don't seem to be a lot of fans if the 07's here. I have loved my XRS and have owned it for 7 years and have put 3000 miles on it. People talk about the motor but I would say as long as it has a several hundred miles on it, it shouldn't be an issue. Only now am I buying a G4 because I think it is that different from the 08-16. The 07 will be a great sled for you. I'm not sure about all the braces, I guess if you were jumping you might need them. You'll have a lot of fun and don't let others distract you about the motor or track, they may have never owned one let alone had any seat time or may not even be a good rider.

The xrs is an awesome sled. Most of the ones I seen went at 1000 miles. Mine went at 1600.
