what are the best ways to shave weight off an '07 dragon. i've got i piped and a can. now what?

Not a boss seat out for it. You can start with a coil over rear suspension and different a arms and spindles. This will drop close to 25 llbs. Then, time for the little stuff. If you ride only in powder, pull the front heat exhange. Rip all the foam insulation out and replace with heat tape. Take the bogey wheels off and add scratchers. Last, get a titanium jackshaft and steering assembly.

what about drilling the track?

The dragon already has the center of the track punched out. You might get away with drilling 3/4" holes on each side of the stock oval holes but it will only save around 1 llb.

But if you do cut the small holes, they will be right where your wheels are, might not be the best ride.
