AWESOME BUILD:D

getting close i think i'm gonna have to go work on my old wedge right now i'm inspired
keep those pics coming
did you consider doing a high rise seat ? (they make a huge diff. )

for the cooler, i took the running board coolers off my 93 xlt and flattened the mounting plates, then mounted them under the tunnel(cutting 4 holes for the hoses)
then ran the coolant lines under the fuel tank(it already had slots) could show you a couple pics if your interested

cool build!

What did you put on the running boards for grip? Looks like some sort of adhesive grip tape? Do you think it will last and work good?

cool build man!

Nice build!
A polaris liberty 700 twin would be an awsome future engine for your custom sled.

Nice to see some old school builds. keep up the good work kid!

hey all
sorry for the lacking updates. Finally got it all together two weekends ago. Came together awesome. Made a few laps around the small field at my shop. Chassis felt awesome. I got the cockpit farther forward which felt sweet. BUT with my luck after spending so much time on this thing the crank decided it was going to puke on me again. Even beefed up with more bearing, keyed etc. the wet noodle xlt crank bit the dust. Separated the pto lobes at least a 1/4 inch. Now I have pipes on the way, carbs and a complete bottom end for an ultra motor. Just need a 96 water pump and a top end. So no i must wait till i get a motor together to get it running again.
thanks for all the coments

I hate it when projects take that turn.....

well got everything I need for my ultra motor except heads. Still searching for those. Going home from school this weekend. Will get motor together and get pipes fitting and stuff. Hopefully get to ride it if all the parts come in time. Got a nice set of dynoport pipes and a really nice topend off ebay. Rest of the sled is basically ready to go other then some little tweeks. Will make sure to take plenty of pics this weekend. Can't wait to ride it with some good power as the chassis felt awesome in the couple laps i took with it.
thanks for all the comments

If anyone has some heads please let me know. Ideally would like to find a set of slp's or something for 0-3000' pump gas. Stock is fine though.
