LH, I'd say put the skier on two skies and try to use the wide body skis, if possible.

That will help the sled a lot.

There was an ego issue with the guy on the ski, he claimed he didn't know how to ski on two skis. Was going in for shoulder reconstruction surgery the following day, and we never got back to the lake at the same time.

I'm going to guess this is in the later 70s.

Is that an O'Brien Mach 1?

My grandparents still have the double handled rope hanging up in the cabin at Seeley.

It is the mid 70s, that is an O'Brien ski, my dad ordered it and was never billed because that was when O'Brien reps or someone were smuggling drugs in or with the ski shipments and got caught. He always had those handles because his hands were small, would build new ropes but always used those handles.

Skis and boards hurt! Im a sky ski only guy these days. A guy on shore shot these of me at our local little spot we ride at.

If anyone knows who Bob LaPoint is...he could RIP is up on the old skis back in the day.

Ya he was the man. Huge guy and skied on the tour and was competitive at an advancing age for a skier. Skied I believe on a 66 which for his size was tiny. I met his brother Kris once (also a legend)
