They say these sleds were tested 100000 miles, maybe on a groomed trail.

Polaris has pro riders jump these things 100ft with no issues but you ride on a bumpy trail and the tunnel bends? I hope it isn't a common issue,and that they fix it for next yr.

Pretty thin material in the footrest area that the hanger is attached to, then add the material cut outs which makes for not much supporting that hanger on side to side impacts in hard snow situations.

Brackets done, just copied the factory plate but made it from 1/4 inch 6061 plate then riveted the whole mess together, no way this area is ever going to bend or separate now. Made tunnel and running board much more rigid. i'll try to get some pics tomorrow.

I heard of a similar problem from towing, with the Polaris towing setup. Haven't seen it personally though.

Thanks everyone. I am currently in Maui on vacation. Just e mailed the dealer to find out what Polaris is saying. I will try to post any info that i hear. They should have made their decision by now.

I received good news today. Tunnel will be replaced under warranty supposed to arrive at my dealer 01-28-11. No reason was given but I am pretty sure it is thanks to my dealer. Makes a big difference when they stand behind their customers.
