Looking into picking up an unclaimed/backed out of Snowcheck Pro.
Question for the dealers or anyone who may know, since the paperwork has not been finalized in the buyers name, will I still be able to get the 4 year warranty or $700 in accessories/parts?

Anyone else pick up an unclaimed sled and what are you paying?
Thanks,Pete

I picked one up. Warranty stayed in the original buyers name. I took the $700. One year warranty and 2nd year engine. As long as I get work done at that shop no worries on warranty name. I was told the warranty can be transferred one time for a $30 fee. $11000 with spare belt and plugs.

I did the same. Still got the 4 year or 2 year/700 accessories option. Only catch was the sled had to be registered in the snowchecked name for 6 months for Polaris, than can be transfered to your name for the rest of the warranty period. If you buy it as a floor model than it is the standard warranty. At least that was the way my dealer did it.

I bought a backed out snowcheck too. I just called the dealer who revealed that "yes the sled has the 4 year warranty BUT the warranty and any claims will be in the name of the person who originally snow checked it". Seems a bit sketchy but I'd prefer that than not having the option of the 4 year coverage.

He also said the warr can be transfered to a "new owner" after a while for a fee. So, I will transfer it to my name mid-season just to be safe.

I took a backed out snocheck and I got the 2 year 700. But I have to wait 6 months to transfer the warranty. I asked what if I am out of town and have an issue. Dealere said show the paper work and they will submit the warranty work.. So we'll see..

I snow checked a pro i asked the dealer if i were to sell it if the warranty stayed with the sled and they told my the warranty stays with the vin of the sled no paper work was needed
