what do you guys use for a program to edit your vids. i had one but when the free 30days was up it was very pricey for what you acutally got

i got avid studio. not the easiest to install but very very good and easy to use. it cost me 130$

Boy... posting "outside" the designated forum...lucky to be getting any replies at all. (remember back in the day when it didnt matter?) If you have Windows, its a good basic program. The 2.6 version (Vista) is waaaaay better than the new Live version they put on Windows 7, but Windows Live is useable. You can download Windows 2.6 onto Windows 7 too. I bought a copy of Magix, didnt like it. Multiple recommendations for Adobe Premiere Element (I just bought it myself, $99.00).

Been using Pinnacle Studio for several years. Had to upgrade to version 15 to handle the quicktime format from my Contour helmet cam. Cost me full price to upgrade, which is kind of a rip. Only about a 120 bucks though. Easy to use and great features.
