ves delete

has anyone ever done a VES delete?? I ran into my brother today and snapped the top bolt off my VES housing so It wasn't working. Some guys have talked about locking them open and you get some top end with that. Is there any kind of a delete kit???

From what ive heard, you want to keep it in working condition to avoid bogging

I wanted to put "Non-Ves" cylinders on my '04 this year after an exhaust valve broke, came in and runied a cylinder, piston, crank...I was talked out of it by several knowledgable sources, including the best dealer in the area......VES motors include changes to timing, carbs, TSP, etc.......I was told it would run pretty crappy.......
