Vent Kits

I am looking to get a vent kit or at least get frogzskin for the openings that are in the panels already. What do you guys recommend? This is for a '15 so I will need something for the new scoop as well on the clutch side. Have it removed and foil taped off at the moment. Is a vent kit worth it or should I just worry about getting the openings that are already in there frogzskined? See that frogzskin and xxmodrods make vent kits just not sure how much they help.

I've been using Racin stations carbon fibers, they're tough!! I'm a tree rider or should I say bouncer big, medium or traction. Had them on since the sled was new (1500 miles) and there the only thing that still looks new on the thing . Another nice thing is if you can break'em he'll replace them! Give Eric a call

I'd like a frogskinz for the opening on the RIGHT side (CAN side) of the sled. It packs full of snow, melts, and freezes on the bottom by the CAN.

That's what I did with mine so far this season. So far, been a pretty good investment, and pretty durable. For some reason the sled likes bouncing off trees. I steer away from them, but the sled keeps going toward them. Some kinda freak love Affair!

You will have to get them from a Arctic Cat Dealer. They where cheaper for me then from frogzskin and they are way stronger.

Where does the mesh they sell for the bumper go?

Turbo application. Behind the bumper. They have the screen for the muffler side as well just not sure what the part number is though.

So is there a place to order a single vent to go in place of the "new" clutch vent in the left side panel on a '15?? Removed the scoop on the inside and have it foil taped off at the moment.

AC has a frogskin for that area, it can be bought as a individual piece. I had one on my 13. I do not know the part number.

Here's my experience with my pro-lite. Frogzskin all the stock vents to keep the snow out and keep them from packing full, and seal up some gaps in the plastic to keep unwanted snow out. I haven't needed any other additional vents so far. There are a couple things that I think have contributed to this. The first is that my exhaust is ceramic coated from y-pipe to can. Second is that the BDX hood has two round vents up by the speedometer and an opening at the steering post that is letting heat out the top. I can set my goggles up there when I am stopped helping a friend dig out and they will be nice and warm when I take off. My old m1000 let more heat out of the gauge lifter than anywhere else too. The third thing is that the clutching seems to be working well and not generating excess heat.

I had some knee panel vents I was going to instal at one point, but I have never felt the need. IMO save the $200 you would normally spend on vents and get your pipe coated, ditch the goggle bag and leave that area open for heat to escape, and get your clutching working well. I guess you will have to get one vent to cover the spot where you remove Cat's scoop vent on the clutch side.
