Vancouver riders

hey guys

just wondering if anyone is going to go riding around hear next saturday or sunday, somewhere like whistler or pemberton. my brother inlaw and i are looking to go riding but do not know the way around up there and thought maby we could hook up with a couple locals that know the moutians. we both have good sleds and are ready to go.

where were you planning on going? I didnt think there was enough snow yet for any kind of decent ride up whistler or on the coquihalla.

i heard BROHM RIDGE has like three feet and also brandy wine.

The whistler area has great riding when there is enough snow, you'll love it! What are you guys riding? Do you have avy gear, beacon, probe, shovel?

I have a beacon and a shovel getting a probe tommorow. I have ordered another beacon for my broher inlaw and hopefully it will be here buy this weekend. so we are set that way. We both have 2000 summit 700 highmark, i have a 151 inch and he has a 136 inch track. we are both fairly new riders but we can hang.

Brohm Ridge 11/26/08

went up brohm today, parked just below the first lookout (5k??). Road in is brutal, lots of rocks up to midstation. One truck did make it up to that point, but a little sketchy. Trail in is good after that. About 3 feet at the lodge, a bit more where it's blown in, but lots of land mines everywhere. Awesome sunset.
