Same old M7 this year, just gonna rebuild the shocks and engine, hopefully score a left over 09 next year. Pray for deep pow!:D

I friend mention about ridin the door??? at Mcbride this winter. Never been. Suppose to be a little hard to get in but once your in you have the whole backcountry to yourself

There is a nasty side hill to get in there but once your in its pretty sweet. A guy I know lost his sled off that side hill last year, heard it was pretty ugly getting it out. And yeah the first few nice looking hills are a no-no due to the heli-skiers.

Hopefully we will get another great year of snow, last year was my best ever on the new D8/163". I went places that I never would have tried on the old edge RMK 800!

I've been back there, definitely some wicked areas to ride and they can and WILL bite you in the a$$ if your not careful. I learned the hard way, watched my M7 roll down a hill about 7 or 8 times. Not to mention that I did a 20ft drop onto flat hard ground and just about broke my back:eek:. 165km in one day in that area and I could hear my fuel pump whining like a little kid:D. Pack lots and lots of gas, you'll need it hehe;).

Looks like both the N & S Dore are going to probably be designated Caribou Tenure! Which means one thing....CLOSED! Which is unfortunate because they are both great spots. Keith.

I have just about had it with these so called "Green Recreation People" . Think about it. How much fuel do these jerk offs burn when they drive or fly from wherever and then burn all the jet fuel flying up and down the mountain to ski?? These people are a bunch of hypocrites. I really do hope that I meet up with one of these phony people and get into one hell of a debate with them over this topic!!!
I think that as a person you have the right to what ever form of recreation you choose and respect one another's decsion. I guess what I'm venting abvout is that I am tired of snowmobilers being catagorized as people who have no respect for nature or the environment while the Greenies are viewed as the next coming of Christ and that anything they spew out to the public via the media is 24 carat gold. Pardon my french when I say , SHUT THE P H U C K UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S.
Has anyone else been reading the new sled mags? In the sept. 08 issue of snowtech p. 22 there is an article concerning the Valemount/ Blue River area. It is very vague about the locations closed to sledding/ backcountry skiing/ dogsledding etc.. BUT being exclusive to the heliskiing operations. Anyone have any other dirt or info as to where or what is shut down? ie.. Clemina ??
