Does anyone know of any private cabins for rent in the Grand Mesa Area? Something with a kitchen and several bedrooms.

Ken Simpson runs Grand Mesa Lodge. Super good guy and has many cabins avail in the winter.
Sled rentals avail. @ Spruce Lodge BUT.............watch your wallet. They are terribly expensive and the owner is a.................well.................Yup, you guessed it.

Grand Mesa Lodge 1 800 551 6372 Ken and Connie are Great to deal with.
They rent sleds too.
Spruce Lodge has really gone down hill in the past couple of years.

GML is the way to go. You can get cabins with multiple bedrooms all the way down to one room. They have kitchens, plenty of hot water for showers! If you need anything Ken and Connie are always there to help! They get my vote too.
Alexander lake lodge & spruce lodge
Both are for sale, Alexander is not being used. The website says its available for lease - but only for a big group I would think.
It's in need of repair but kinda cool in a shining type of way. My wife quit walking thru and went back outside as she just felt like some ghost or dead guy would fall out of a closet.
Oh if Grand Mesa lodge is not available or booked try Powderhorn Ski area on the mesa - they have condos.

BOOO! There's no ghosts, silly goose. The spruce should be taken for what it is a simple lodge. Cabins are basically the same shape as Ken's, GML. BUT---> if somehtings not RIGHT, expect quick a fix at GML. NOt the Spruce.
GML-Ken will do everything he can for his guests...
Stay where you like, we would love to have ya!! But dont whine if the restaurant is closed or the bar is locked, or if you cant get fuel till 10am at the s-place.
Get my hint.
