Utah Registration question!

Had a question for you Uts,

Im a new York resident but I spend my six month winter in Utah. I just bought a new sled in Michigan and was wondering can I register it in Utah without a perm address there or being a resident? I paid Michigan sales tax so I figure Ill have to pay a few more bucks in Utah but not as bad as New Yorks 8 point what ever.... let me know your thoughts.... Oh and insurance, who should I go with? Thanks!

You can register it in NY and not have to do anything with it in Utah because NY offers reciprocity with Utah.

Or register it in Michigan and pay the $35 out of state fee in Utah... still cheaper than registering it outright in Utah.

I use Foremost. Always had great rates and never a problem on claims.
