Utah neighbor thread....

Last year I rode mostly on the North Slope with GP & SH and Hector too. :):beer; Had a great time! :D Will probably spend most of my time that way this year if they will let me hang again.

Of coarse. It's always nice having another gal along.

Wife has a D7 that she "rides" once a year on Presiden't Day. Mainly it is a great tow sled...
Fav spots are AF (dry fork over to Snake Creek), Tony Grove, Guardsman and where it's deep

Started sledding 5 years ago because Snowbird got tracked out too fast and some friends told me we could get to the goods in Mary Ellen's Gulch easy on sleds. Next year rode an M7 and was hooked and have only skied when I had to take the Scouts out since.

Learning a ton from people like Product Tester, Paul from Impulse, Nate and Zeb has really helped me. Great meeting so many good poeple in the sledding community

Originally from Wisconsin (easy on the cheese-head jokes) came out here(Heber) going on 14 years ago to ride, never left. Worked for a couple of Arctic Cat/Skidoo/Kawasaki dealers, opened my own performance/repair shop here in Heber. Looking into getting rentals going here again, but times are tight. Not much riding til after late January (hard to explain to customers that I didn't finish there sled cause I was to busy riding) then it's usually Snake Creek or Lake Creek (when the daughter is on board, shes 10):p

Hi neighbors!
I'm from Cache Valley.
I became addicted to this sport when I was 12. My scoutmaster would take us out on winter survival trips every winter. Got to learn on a 295 colt,tx250, Johnson ski-horse(with reverse) then moved up to the 440 rupp, John Deere jdx8, sno-jet tnt. That was many years ago.....Now a days I still have some vintage sleds, tube chassis sleds, crashed sleds, and a couple revs. They just don't get much use anymore cause I found the cure. Just lopp off one of the ski's and it fixes everything, now I can go places I never even thought of before and at a much higher rate of speed. Its about the same difference as riding the mountains on a bike and your buddy is trying to follow you on his wheeler. Most of my sleddin friends have also found the cure as they keep converting over. There's not many cures left as they only made about 1200 doses over the years. I've got a 500 fan, 600, and 2 800's now and slill looking for more.
Ive had a great time meeting alot of the peeps on here and will continue looking forward to meeting more.
I do most my riding between Paradise and Preston.

I think I should start riding with you and test out a "cure" You should of seen my old man try riding justins two years ago on the flat ground haha. To bad his body is so hammered I think a hawk would be the ticket cause his legs would be more spread out and not bunched up like a normal sled.

DUDE VERNAL HAS THE ****TIEST CELL PHONE SERVICE OF ANYWHERE.

I _HATE_ it. You can't even head out to the GNB field south of town and be on the friggen paved road and get service..... it's rediculous ... let alone the dead spot down down. I swear it has to ahve something to do with the police department being right htere, it always seems like it cuts me off whenever I drive by.

I actually work midstream for one of QGM's competitors I guess ... Stage Coach is right down the street from us ;)

I'm pretty new to it, I've only been there a year and a month now. Before that I was pumping frac jobs for big red .... then before that I had verious odd jobs during college, worked on a few rigs, worked in a shop in Casper that rebuilt workover rigs, etc ...

nice skivs there moose, you need to keep that pants fire contained so we can get some more snow. so we can get to some serious sleddin.

anywho,

my names Brandon, friends call me Vern,
i'm 23, single, live in hyrum, have a dead end job that barely pays for the toys (listed below) but somehow managed to buy me a house a couple months ago. sleddings been in my family since i was born, but i never got real seroius till i was like 12 or 13, now its my life, spend all summer prayin for snow. i ride with bascially the same group of peeps all the time and ride anywhere from cub river idaho to paradise and occasionally an island park trip. mostly ride between hardware ranch and the sinks up logan canyon, not real crazy terrain but we started to do alot of exploring to find places that no one else seems to go. only been out twice this year, but hopin for more snow.

Gotta love serious sinks riding. Ill bring the 488 trail delxue :beer; ;)

easy there turbo, we'll get outta the sinks once we get some snow. but for now we keep it simple cuz we have a pretty good idea where the rocks are from previous experience, eh moose? any who there might not be any real big hills up there but the tree riding is pretty sweet. you had that skidooski out yet this year? and hows that cummings turbo deezel treatin ya?:beer;
