Twisted Turbo Thread Only-Good Idea?

Yes by the way you are explaining it here we are backwards from each other. When I say "off" I mean temp. by pass switch in "off" position the same as if the original connection unplugged. I have a switch which I purchased from Cutler that has oem plugs, which goes in between the orginal connection. My switch is always in the "on" position meaning connection "connected".

I need to get this switch installed... Everytime mine won't start I have to pull a plug and pour some gas in... Good times!!

The best way to describe a switches position is simply open and closed... Then there is no confusion.:beer;

If and when you do trip the temp. sensor. Turn the temp. sensor bypass switch off(do not give it gas) pull it over till it pops, usually 1-3 pulls. Then turn the temp. sensor bypass switch back on hold it wide open and it should start first or second pull every time.

holy shiz:beer;:beer;:beer;

this totally worked yesterday, im sure a few good peolpe dont know these.....or have not yet told me:rolleyes:

oh dont get me started;)

but, alot of peolpe are simple purchasing a pre=packaged switch from culters/twisted/attitude......and whom ever else. Now a typical switch will act just as jenson and the turbo kit packagers say it does......but its actually backwards from its true application in respect to discussing what is and what is not.....but, whatever, and its best we use the words "normal" and "bypass" maybe??????

I have a 08 TTM1000 and I have something funny going on with my sled. I get done riding, put it on the trailer and head home. 15 miles home then I try to start to ride it in the shop, pulled over three times, fliped the temp sensor switch, pulled it once it tried to start and died, I pulled until my arms felt like they were going to fall off, temp switch in both positions, no pop, nothing. This happened once before I put the temp switch in, I let it sit over night in the garage, then It would start, idle and die, maybe 10-15 times then would clear out and be fine. I thought putting this switch in would help the problem. Am I using the switch wrong. I did not want to deal with it this evening, so I pulled it inside for the night (heated shop) and I will deal with it tomorrow. has anyone ever had anything like this happen. Thanks

It was as simple as water in the ecu connectors that was throwing a injector failure code on my attitude box. Thanks shain

go down to NAPA or where ever and get some dielectric grease....its basically a non-conductive clear/white grease that keeps the water out while keeping a non-conductive barrier in-between the pin connectors and any conductive water

just add enough in each connector to cover the male pins....anyone who does not do is is somewhat asking for trouble:beer;

05 ttm7

I'm running a R/G Twisted kit on my 05 M7 and having good luck with it. Sucks to start when its cold but goes like hell once its running. My A/F reading while cruising on the trail is around 16.5 to 17. Who else is running this kit on the some motor and what is your A/F. I have to add Shaine is one hell of a guy, he met me in IP last year and helped me tune my sled in the first time I had it out. I will never forget this. The only thing I need to add to my sled this year is the quiet exhaust.

I do believe most people who know Shain say the same thing..."Shain is a great help all the time with these turbo sleds,he puts alot of time and energy into it....Thank to Shain!!

Has anyone got oil in there exhaust when gettting stuck in a realy steep spot? Happend once to me last year and I did'nt know what was going on. Smoked like crazy for about 5 min.

Twisted M 1000 Race gas

Can someone tell me what the yellow blue mod on the box is . Is it on the boost cycle or is it on main jet cycle thanks Jim

I'm running a RG Twisted Turbo on a 2009 M8. My Peak RPM is 300-400 higher than it should be. My question is, how much adjustment on the Black Diamond Extreme clutch is needed to bring the RPMs down?

You need to adjust your primary weight. I was pulling about 300rpm higher than I should have been and I added 2.5gm's to my cutler adjustable weights and its now bang on.
