Twisted cold air intake

Doent sound like hype to me. If it adds perfomance on deep days, and its a fact it lowers charge temps.

Engine bay air temps and humidity can ski rocket at times.

Maybe Shain saw Cutlers sleds out performing his in the super deep!?

I heard through the grape vine that you have to remove your headlights, as that is where this system is drawing in air. Anyone know for sure on that. I would love to add this system to my new build; however, I do enough after dark riding where I need my nice bright stock lights. :wine:

This kit should work the same as Cutlers and retain the headlights for the night riders.

I hear the new intake is a snorkel type unit that attaches to the top of your helmet, for the super deep days when it is over your head deep, all you have to do is shake your head really hard. It comes with super bright HID lights on both sides for the night riders.

The intake can be chrome plated or painted to match your sled from what I hear, I also hear they are working on a Klim edition, so it matches your riding gear.

I hear it will be refrigerated to really drop the intake temps on those super long 5 mile pulls up the side of Mt Everest, an air horn will be include free of charge ;)

It won't interfere with the helmet cams will it? I shoot a lot of film in the dark, especially on deep powder nights. :face-icon-small-win

Looks pretty deadly. Are we talking a real tight seal between the two sides? Obviously it works... but kinda hoped to see a receiver for the pipe going up maybe with a big fat O ring or am I gettin too fancy?

This thing is going to make a big diff for charge air temps for sure. Great idea.

These pics are of an un finished product (bootleged). There is a foam ring that goes around the 90 off the turbo that seals the intake plentum to the turbo, and you can leave the head lights in no problem.I prefer to get rid of the head light. (more air and less weight) these are in stock and ready to go. and will work on any turbo facing foward.

There is a note on the website that he won't put up pictures until the snow show to protect the intake from being copied for a little bit.

Eric... I read that on the Twisted website.... wasn't the cold air intake that Paul Hurley designed/made for Twisted Turbos on display on Shane's Cat at Hay Days snow-show???:face-icon-small-con

Any word on the PWR Barrel Intercoolers for the Twisted kits?
