Turny conditions

hey

Turny wasn't bad today at all. Found some deep snow in areas with 8-10 inches of new snow. snow is super fluff due to cold, its nice.

4-8 inches of snew snow. went over the top and that was a joke..(bare ground from the wind) down in the trees it was pretty soft. still plenty of powder if you want to get stuck. it was pretty flat light though

Rode today, 8 to 10 on the front and 18 to 20 in bowl 1. All the tracks were filled in and was nice and soft, dug a small pit at the top and looked pretty good but was loaded( any more snow and it will be highly unstable). When it goes blue it's gonna be fun. We still burned a full tank and were wooped when we got to the truck. The roads are nasty, we pulled a fella out of the bank on the way home and I could barely stand up the roads were so slick.

Thanks for the update I was wondering what it was like. Looks like they are going to be getting dumped on more over the next couple days. Let's do a mini-forum ride there on Christmas eve? Whos in

Raining sideways in the parking lot, 38-39 degrees via the truck temperature gauge on dash. Didnt even unload, came back to town.

The seward hwy from Girdwood to the pass is damn near a flood. Careful if your headin down that way. The road turns to glare ice with water on top about 1/2 mile up the pass.

according to the snow marker they have gotten 17 inches of snow since yesterday. it went from 53 to 70. heres a link for you guys to check it out whenever you want along with other places like valdez

Pretty sure it's based on inches of water and it converts it to snow. But in this case it is to warm, the snow depth dropped if anything from warm temps and rain. Would have been nice if it stayed below freezing, then we would have 17" of fresh. It was however DUMPING up top. Didn't go up but we did play in the transition point some of the day between rain and snow.

we had about 2 hours of good light today, conditions were spring-like. with the 300% water content snow things are going to set up if it cools off...

The sunday before last, we rode with your buddy for a while on the black and orange XP. Pretty cool guy, he lost his hood off his sled. Finially found it later in the day. He mentioned that his buddies didnt make it up that day due to a roll over accident the day before! lol....
