Intended to ride Placer today... but lighting didn't look good so we pressed on to Turny. Slightly cold, but had an amazing day regardless as the snow was plentiful everywhere. Hung out with Eric and the rest of the binge crew... watched them build a nice jump and film. Those guys are crazy. Back in the parking lot i took six pictures of the mountain because i wanted to process them through this new panoramic software i have on my linux machine. Here it is:

How cold was it today? I woke up @ 8:00 and the weather cam said it was -12 there so I went back to bed. I am heading there tomorrow, it should be a litle warmer, I hope!
It was only -15 in the parking lot... made fresh tracks again today, rode the powerline and up through the trees into Gods country (pyrimid bowl I think). Awsome day. After the first open creek on the powerline, not a track in sight. How was the back side bowls? Didn't get there this weekend. Kool pic Trav

We got to the ridge and looked down into the first back bowl and there was a cloud sitting in there making the light poor. Snow looked good but it was good snow everywhere so we headed back down to the sunny side and set some highmarks-good times!

Ya man that was a bummer ya'll had to turn around, no one had been in there all year. We'll try it again when I get off the slope. Ya know... there is about 10 fixes for that little broke skud, sitting on the cat showroom floor...lol

It'll take a bit more than one spoiled trip to transfuse my blood... Petstores make me puff like a blowfish, I am allergic to Cats, I carry an EPIPEN just for that reason... but that only gives me 30 minutes to get to EMS... LOL
Kid said on the way home he broke that foam holder with his knee last week and didnt think it mattered cuz his buddies sled didnt even have an airbox...LOL
SNO TEK pre-filter is on the way and a couple of 2" FLOWRITE's for the back side of the airbox to act as a back up air source. The little 5 hun will be a powder cruisin fool

My brother rode turnagain this afternoon and said it was ok but the ride only lasted two hours as it started snowing hard. They were planning on Placer but weather wasn't ideal when they drove through.
yeah turnagain had good snow but more is coming like trav said!! got a few good hours in this morning in the first bowl... i'm just curious but has anyone gotten back to the 2nd or 3rd bowls this year? maybe i'm just behind the game.
Trav if your bro was on a black m7 i think then we stopped and talked... my buddy wanted to drink beer with him but he didn't sound up for it.

My bro drives a 2001 yami shorty, he was with a guy on a new everest xp(black), and a 07 XRS shorty. Don't know who else went, they could've been driving a black 07 tahoe, white 08 tundra, or lifted white 08 ford f250... no telling. they also might have had more people w/ them? Anyways, i'm looking forward to ripping this weekend. i don't care what the weather is like... i will be down south ---- hope this rain doesn't show up that is in the forcast.

Was heading up to Turnagain tomorrow and noticed the snotel had a 40.5 degree temp reading at 2 PM. Wonder if the snow was going to be mush and ice. The forecast is calling for warm temps, rain, and high winds at the higher elevations. Let me know how it was today and what everyone thinks of tomorrow.

haven't tracked it yet, but i'll be boosted to 12 lbs this summer so i should be into the 13's. have some tranny building to do first though. sucks that it warmed up. it was in the high 20's in fairbanks and i was like 'what the fukk?" sure enough thats why, cus it's melting.
with 12lbs of boost I would also work on the tranny LOL.
I ran mine last year, nothing special my best was 14.79, not to bad for a 5500lb truck.
