Puff'n....... rode the deshka yesterday and it was deep!!!!! the further back you go the more deep it gets.....rode to northwood lodge and it was about 4ft deep back there on there lake!!!!! visibility and goggles was an issue!!!!!but that deep of snow.....who cares!!!!!!!!!!!

AK800VE and myself rode Turnagain today. It was fun, but it was windy and snowing/raining so that put a damper on the day, rode for a couple hours then called it quits for the day...plus it was very hard to see. Snow is starting to set up, but, there are some deeep places that we found. Sleds ran great but, keep 'er pinned!! parking lot is pretty much all slush but, when we started to leave the lot, the snow was letting up some but, it was still windy. Was raining hard from Rabbit Creek till about half way up Turnagain hill then changed to a wet snow.

i'll post some pics once the camera drys out... lol

I rode there on Sat. the snow was decent, kinda crusty but, once you got back in there it was over the windshield snow!! hopefully this storm passes by thursday or friday at the latest. should be killer when it does! goin' north this weekend.

Nasty rumor huh? sounds good, im gonna do some scouting friday, but from the looks of it im not expecting anything good. Some super deep snow would be great, especially without flat light!!! Ill keep in touch with you

I bet you will find deep snow but to hold your breath on quality.

its only a "slush fest" down low, anywhere above 1800ft has been getting absolutly crushed...6, 7, 8, 9 ft in the last 8 days. Give a little time to set up, LOST LAKE must be crazy by now.

heads up guys there is a hard ice crust layer down about 5 feet this makes for super bad avy conditions...BE SAFE!!!!
