When we went up and over on Sunday the troopers had dropped 6 charges on Saturday and only one set off an avy. None of the other charges caused slides. There were also people highmarking all day long Sunday and nothing slid. We still chose not to climb anything but it seemed fairly stabil.
rode turny today, snow was pretty tracked up on frontside. Couldn't go over top, fair to bad visibility throughout the day today. Went over to the right further and found some untouched snow, but not much. Stayed off the steep faces only had one other guy with me so we stayed towards the trees. Hopefully it clears up so we can go over the top!

The current advisory said 12 inches of new snow at 1800 feet with the temperture right at 29 this morning. The weather calls for highs in the high thirties to the low fourties for Saturday, so it will be warm and wet most likely. I'm not sure what it will be like over the top, but pretty dangerous right now. We'll see though.

its about time we get some deep snow. we have been getting shafted for to long. Anyone down for a ride Sunday?
Let's ride! Doing LL/firemans tomorrow, will see how the weather is sunday.
Looking at possibly riding Sunday. Anyone interested in sharing a ride from the valley? Let me know, I've got to pick up the sled from the dealer tomorrow if I'm going to ride on Sunday.
