so now that the season is over well here it is. im wondering what turbo system you recomend for the m8. witch is the most user friendly

bd pump gas kit all they way!
I put almost 2500 miles on mine this season with not 1 issue from the kit.
I havnt touched the box for over 1000 miles, bd ADA boxes works flwlessly, and their new electronic wastegate will make it even more user friendly.
Only 1 arctic cat warranty issue.
Every owner of every kit will say theres is the best and to get it.
IMO the bd kits is very reliable, and I have never put any race gas in it.
The power is great, make sure you do diff. clutching then what bd recommends tho. It does not work as good as soom secret set ups out there, If you need a hook up on clutching pm for a number to call to order, it is the best clutching for a pumper!

I'd have to agree with Phil on that. Rode with several BD pump gas M8's this season, very impressive and user friendly. I tried an aero 53 on my 09 M8. I liked the turbo itself but thats about it.

I went with Product Tester and his Twisted brand , and never had any troubles . I bought the race gas kit and turned it down to run pump gas at the end of the year . I am really happy i did not buy a pump gas kit for the 8 , 12 lbs is sooo much more fun .
If i was you i would sell the 8 ,if you already own one . And do a race gas M1000 . You can turn it down to run pump gas , and crank it up when you can afford fuel . The M1000 on pump gas will tear up an M8 at 14 lbs .
Next year i will be on a race gas M1000. My 8 will be on pump gas next year , and will be rode by my 13 year old nephew .

I have ran my pumper over 10#s. I hit 10#s on straight 91. No det. no Issues.
I know the other pumper i ride with ran 11#s on straight 91. So why do a race gas kit for more money? lol
I have ridden with 2 other brands of turbo m8s and can honestly say My sled on 8#s ran right with their race gas kits on 11-12#s.
Just my experience
He liked how the turbo worked, meaning no oil tank, self contained system, but not how it made his sled VERY unreliable for some reason. But it was on older kit. No matter what you decide you will get a good product, all the builders have the systems pretty much dialed in now imo as far as reliablilty, and driveability.

ya i know dad is saying the same thing but need a little something to get the pedersons in the deep and steep other wise the sled is unbeat stock vs stock any brand well around here that is.

ANyone can pull a long steep hill, its boils down to balls. Pull the committment stuff and you got em. Not dissin the petersons, but theres no limit to what they want to own if you know what I mean. They are good sh!ts but we have to budget...........................

there is no issue with commitment cuz i dont go out to sit around justthe stock m8 has nothing on rev xp 860 jaws twins and guted to the 9's so ya i guted my sled so it looks so cool now just put the turbo on and my new name will be FLIGHT PATH. yeeehaaa

Surely does, but it's no 300 hp. I'd have to hear some whistle and wastegate for that to be possible.
