Turbo Air Filters

So, i have a filter on my sled right now that i'm afraid it's going to be too restrictive. So i went ahead and bought a prefilter. My question is how do people make the cage that holds the filter?

Here's what i'm talking about from boondocker website.

The easiest thing would be just to buy one, most of the kit companies sell them.

Yup but the easy route dont get you ahead any! The intake costs $140, when i spent $20 on the pre-filter, and i could put a nother $40 into it and have basically the exact same thing, plus i like making things so it's a win win.

i made one out of pvc. i can post a pic if you want.

Yeah, that would be awesome could you send me it.

You could just buy some expanded metal from http://www.mcmaster.com/#perforated-metal/=ev2tqn and weld it up.

That would be nice, but i need a welder, and where i'm moving i wouldn't have one like here on the farm.
