tubo on the 800 dragon

hmm

yup, because that is what is the funnest part of sledding and what we all like to do the best... run up and down an open field. yee haw! not to be too big of an a-hole but really, with the exception of a long drag race (most competitions are 660 feet) and open hill high marking, when do you ever hold the throttle wfo more than a 1000'? yes the turbos make unbelievable power and can climb almost anything. i ride with a guy with a $35k+ 340hp apex that is crazy sick, but really just not for me. if an 860 will pull a turbo dragon up to 1000', i'll take the 860 any day and i know, over all, i'd have more fun on the 860. but maybe that's because i don't have one... that, i no longer need to have the biggest d!ck on the hill. good luck and enjoy whatever you decide to do. are turbos a revolution or a fad?

Only ones i know that speaks like that has never had a big HP sled.
10k$ for a D8 6.2k$ for BD race kit =17k$ 500pound 230-270++hp killer
BTW here in sweden a D8 163 costs16000$ enjoy cheap power
and gas while you can..

The way new turbos are set up with no lag you can run them anywhere a 860 will go in the trees, boondocking, climbing, anything you want a stock sled to do turbo will do it just as well and with a lot more power to do it with i might add! Yes a turbo set up good will run you about 7-8 g's but once you have one you will never wanna ride a sled with out. guess it's not for everyone and not harpen on other sleds but they will do so much more than just point and shoot!

Let see,,,,,,,, You get a load of bad gas or something goes wrong and you break your motor,,,, the Aero charger is now a two day exchange!! pistons cylinders as close as your local dealer!!!!!!!!!!!!!! custom pistons and cylinders.. I guess we forgott the PSI days when we broke something we were down for months.. When the engine builders get busy ,,they are just THAT !!!!!!!Turbo for me!!!!!!!D8T and XP

It's best to turbo a stock sled. Turboing a bigbore is not usually a smart option due to porting and compression. To many people give to much credit to a flatland or hard snow uphill drag race. Many mountain sleds are not clutched for drag races, but put the same sled on a steep long pulling powdered hill and the results are much differn't. Thats where the turbo will shine.

i would love an 860; in fact it would be my first choice. carls makes the best pull and go performance you can buy.

but i went with a turbo b/c i made (or am trying to) make a kit myself and save some $$. i'll let you know how that turns out :)

if the turbo and trees worries you ..go talk to chris at carls cycle..they make an 860 big bore that outran boondockers race gas turbo out to 1000ft. last spring..the guys who got to ride all the sleds raved about the 860.....price is about the same as a pump gas turbo kit..it is also very very reliable and pull and go....
