naw not pen raised, but deer in SE MN and NE Iowa are damn near farm raised.
Makes a huge difference for antler growth when deer have a steady supply of corn and soybeans, vs the swamp fodder of northern MN.

Those hunters are a bunch of morons, 14 mature bucks like that in a square mile?!!!!!! Congrates on basically taking out the entire herd in one season. Guys like this amaze me, next year they won't see nearly anything like this and will biatch about how bad the deer hunting was. I'm from WI and see this all in the time in small areas. Obviously this herd had great genetics and in one season, these morons managed to take them all out.

My uncle has a small, 200 acre dairy farm up in northeast Iowa (Clayton county... borders Allamakee... funny stat about Clayton county, not one single stop light in the whole county! ), and we've pulled 15 deer off the farm in a day, and the next day have seen a herd of 30 go gallopin across the fields.
All those guys did by pulling those few 14 bucks out was make it easier for the other 30+ bucks left in the area for next year.
