I just got back from the Windsor hotel for two nights. The snow was amazing, winter never left Trout Lake. 2 Feet of fresh!!
anyone been up trout lake lately? i'm joining a group up there this weekend. my first time checking it out. any slide action up there in the recent past?
We were there on a stag Easter long. SICK ZONE. We rode the cat skiing zone on the LHS, right before you enter into town all three days. Park on the main road as we heard stories of smashed and flipped over trucks.
From the top, you can follow the cat road all the way down the backside. Watch out for huge campfire holes at the bottom of the valley on the turnaround.
From the top, follow the cat road 1/2 way down. there's a cat road that goes back up to the climbers left. From that saddle, you can go and go and go.
The hotel has got a killer breakfast. LID can attest to the quality of the bacon.
And don't be surprised when the golf club comes out.
