trouble with babbitts online ?

Worse on-line service ever

Ordered 2 items, paid $17 shipping for $12 worth of parts, 5 weeks
later I received 1 item, no explanation, 4 weeks later my card was
credited $4 for shipping, called, e-mailed and got no response.
Reported them to Better Business Bureau. By the way I live less
than 70 miles from Babbits so 5 week delivery is ridiculous.
I wouldn't buy a can of pop from those crooks in the future.

Same problem as everyone else. Ordered a bunch of small items from them. I didn't even realize they weren't all there when I received the order. But I had enough to get my sled back together. About a month later I start getting B.O. parts from them! I was like what the he!!.
 
Huh, I order some OEM stuff from them because the price and the fact that I can pick it up. I only about 10-20 min away. Never really had a big issue. I did order a gas can and got an email a couple of day later that said it was dicontinued from Polaris and they credited back my card. At least I got the communiction. This was last week.

For Aftermarket oem and parts & accessories, I ship all over and offer really good prices and customer service. For OEM you can get anywhere else you may want to try Ingles Performance out in NY. I have had good luck with them.

Try these people

Bristows Polaris, in MN. Toll free #. People who know the product. Always seem to have parts instock. If only ordering SMALL parts, ask that they use Speede Delivery,only 5 bucks & usually 1 day shipping.
 
I just got an e-mail update on the parts i ordered. The shovel bag is sold out or discontinued and my card has been refunded for that part. the rest of the parts are still coming. (i hope)

The e-mail although computer generated gives me a little hope that they know what they are doing.

FWIW. Although previous orders have been slow and some came in split shipments, my last order was place 10/27 and I just got confirmation that they are shipped and will be here 11/10. Not too bad IMO. I guess it depends on what's in stock etc... Either way, reading thee posts it sounds like their C.S. has a lot to be desired.

So I just got the e-mail confirmation that my parts are in and ready to ship. I should have them by the 12th.

Will keep ya'll posted and see if they all get here.
 
Well my order came earlier than expected but only got 3 of 4 items. No mention of the missing item on invoice or e-mails. I'll e-mail back and see what's up.
 
I used to tell people to order from them.

No more.

I ordered a part from Babbits, Ronnies, and a small sled shop.
Babbits was 50% above retail price and I needed 16 of these parts so I said ... order from 3 places and see what you get.

Well I received the items and Babbits provided 3 times the amount of the same part for 50% above retail.

Great deal !!! So I ordered 5 more of the same part from Babbits thinking I would get 15 items. 3 x 5 equals 15 ... right WRONG. They only shipped 5 items prices 50% above retail.

On the phone they declared they don't sell multi items under one part NUMBER. They wanted to charge a restocking fee I said you are not plus you should refund shipping since you stiffed me on the part.

So now I have a dispute on the credit card.
 
I still have not gotten my order! man I wish that place was closer so I could go over there and have some fun! yelling at somone on the phone is not as much fun as it is in person! I am calling right now If they dont have a tracking # I am going to unload and they will not charge me anything !
 
bad deals

I took is in the Azz with them 2 years ago. I bought a suzuki dealer demo dirtbike from them. Looked like a very nice bike and ok price. was an ebay buy. I get the bike from shipping, try to start for 1/2 hr finally starts and knocks like hell. call them up and talk to them they tell me I can talk to the guy who crated the bike so i did. well it ran fine when i put it in the crate he told me. I tore the engine down ex valves were hitting piston cause they had cam timing off. ends up the bike was a race bike and didn't even have the engine it was supposed to have. I did get them to pay for the parts but fixed myself. Never again will I buy something from them crooks.:mad:
