trouble with babbitts online ?

Just wondering if anyone else uses or has had trouble with babbits online ? I ordered my parts from them to save a buck! I ordered Sept. 27 and only got 1 of a half a dozen items. I have been calling and emailing for the last 3 weeks trying to get my parts or at least a good answer ,but the run around is all I have gotten so far !:mad: I have not been mean to this point but my temper with show through soon ! Anybody else have similar experience ? or I am the winner on the chit lottery on this one ?
 
Babbits Sucks.

Babbitts SucCs! I order a bearing from the this summer place the order on line on Monday, on Friday one of my buddys had one at his shop. So at this point I call Babbits to see if my part had shipped and I had NOT. So told the gal I would like to cancel my order, she told me I can not cancel I have to wait untill I get it and return it. Yes I had to eat there over priced shipping to me and my return shipping to them and a 25% restock free 50 buck later I pay a litte more from my local dealer. They have always had my part in less then a week with no shipping.
 
I agree also their customer service blows! I have had trouble in the past finding out when and if my parts had shipped. Emails to them often get no response.


Other than driving to the dealer, is there a better place?
 
I would love to use my local dealer but there just isn't one! So i'm stuck with shipping but next time I'll stick with Carls. I just had a spendy list this season and babbits was more than 75.00 cheaper! I ordered in sept. so there should not have been any trouble !
 
dude, I have not had a good experience with babbitts. I sat out 5 weeks of my season 2 years ago because of the exact same run-around it sounds like you've been through. When I called to figure out why my package hadn't shipped they informed me that some of my items were backordered and had been when I placed the order.

Every order after, I have placed with them has been somehow wrong. Never anything significant, but enough to have made me stop ordering from there.

Since there isn't a dealer nearby, I'd bet you can find another dealership online that you can order a full inventory from and get your parts in the future.
 
They are sloooow but if you have time to wait it is cheaper. In the past, whenever stuff goes on B.O. I'd get everything else 1st.

If it's a critical item, I would only recommend them for an offseason purchase. Otherwise, get it from your dealer if you can.
 
I have had the same problem. Order parts from them this summer, took about 2.5 weeks to get about half of what I orderd. About a week later called them and they told me they would ship them out right away because they had to order the parts in. About another 2 weeks after that called them again and explained to them the situation and they finally shipped the parts: drive shaft and jack shaft bearings, so I had my sled torn apart all summer.
 
Sound like its time to STOP being nice ! and ordering from them ! they said my parts would be here by friday at the latest . We will see I hope so because it has to snow sooner or later !
 
Those big multi line dealers loose touch with the way the real world turns real fast,for your Polaris parts I'll meet or beat any one in the lower 48 states on price.

i also have had very bad experence with babbits. placed a huge order with them and it never came and them t weeks later only a small part of the order came. i finally got the rest of the order and it was all wrong every thing in the damn box. so i no longer do business with them.
 
Well heck!

I wish this thread would have been posted yesterday! I just placed an order from them! Damn the bad luck. Oh well I hope they get the parts to me.

same old story..........

Ordered parts this summer, and recieved half the order. Called, emailed,emailed again. Finally got a hold of a live person, and she acted like she expected a call from a customer who did not recieve all his parts--(must happen often). She said they would go out that day---checked one week later and got no response---another week and the parts showed up. Two weeks later the same parts showed up again---They are pretty screwed up. Anyone need polaris chaincase bearings?
 
my dad orderd his jacket bibs and glove he paid fo 2 day shiping and it arrived like 2 weeks later and that was only the bibs were still waiting for the jacket and gloves

DOH!! that sucks fellas I would have posted this a week or so ago but I did not want to be one of the cry baby boo hoo boys that complains if there parts aren't packed in linen! If I had known this was the response I would get from this post I would have stopped being nice sooner!:mad:I am calling on tuesday to get a tracking # and they had better have one or the chit is going to hit the fan ! we should all know better there is a dealer on here from every manufacturer we should use them they support us lets support them! I am gonna give gcmci an shot !
