Trash Day / BBQ at St. Helens

Thread Rating
5.00 star(s)
Expanding on Ruffryder's good idea, a couple of us (Tsnow and myself) are planning a clean-up day / BBQ on the South side of St Helens. Thinking that July 12th would be a good day as most will probably have plans on the weekend of the 4th plus the snow should pretty much be gone:( by then so the trash wil be exposed. Bags and gloves will be provided and I'll take care of the disposal.

Burgers, dogs, and associated condiments (or steaks if the RSVP isn't too high)will be provided but if you prefer something else, by all means bring it along as there will be room on the grill. Thinking potluck style for side dishes and of course, bring your own beverage:D

Please feel free to post or pm any questions, comments, ideas, or to sign up. We'll need a good idea of how many will be there so the food doesn't run out. Updates to come:beer;

I am thinking about coming down for it. I will definitely be there if there is still riding to be done!

I'm doubting the possibility of riding that late but I'll keep you posted. Steak and beer though if you make it since we're stealing your idea...plus it's long drive for a burger.

Anyone else willing to donate their time for a day? The State is doing a study right now on whether or not to turn most of St. Helens into a limited access park and things like this are a good way to show everyone that snowmobilers aren't the horrible people we're sometimes made out to be:beer;

Jeez guys,

Steaks, beer... I don't think I deserve all this. All I need is a flat grassy spot where I can put a tent! :beer;

Hide them??? Hell, even HE can't find them.. lol

Got Slim Jim????

There might be more to the story, some hidden but hilarious details..... gonna have to go to the road clean up party at Baker to find out though..... :p

If there is riding to do this weekend, any chance that this could be moved up? The weather looks to be crystal clear for a while.

Doubt there will be much left by this weekend with the impending 90+ temps but we could give it a shot. On the bright side, at least there won't be many people to reschedule with:rolleyes: I'll see what it looks like in a couple days
