Trade my 05 900 Switchback for his 07 700 Dragon??

I have the oppotunity to trade even my 2005 900 Switchback for a 2007 Dragon with similar miles and similar condition. Both have all updates done to them and the dragon had a brand new engine put in last year. I mostly ride trail in NH but do go off trail on occasion. What are the pro's and con's of this offer? Is the Dragon a strong sled? Will I lose alot of speed going from the 900 to the 700? It's a long time friend of mine that wants to trade so I'm not interested in fleecing him or being fleeced. I beleive the 700 motor is more reliable than the 900 unless your 900 already has all of the supporting modifications done to make it last.
