What position is the track shock suppose to be in to get the most weight off the skiis?

Shock in up pos and let out the limiter to last hole... Keep in mind that this will not be optimum for deep snow or powder riding. Hope thats what your after.

rear springs in soft position will make your skis light, but you will be stuck anytime you get off the trail.

Your angle of approach will be worse, so it will be harder for your machine to climb up on top the snow and you will trench.

You would be doing the exact opposite of what everyone is doing when the drop and roll the chaincase.
