Well what do you think? Track doesn't seem loose but it sure looks like the drivers are ripping up the track. It looks like this for about a little over half of the track. I also have the typical track gouging on the outside edge of the hyfax.

Looks like I may have found the problem. I'm missing the upper seat on the front track shock. It's lost all tension and is coming up into the track.

The track damage is from the center driver.
(Common when loose)
The missing spring keeper is from not tightening the jamb nut against the adjustment nut.
thanks, i'll tighten her up. they sure like to run tight. i don't even have enough room to get a pencil between the track and hyfax when it's on the track stand. do you usually notice ratcheting when this type of damage happens?
i never inspected the suspension after the initial dealer setup so no telling how long the shock has been like this. i just need to locate a new retaining clip and it'll be back in business.
My track had similar damage at 500 miles.
The main thing is to check tension when the track is limbered up.

10# on the track and 10mm is spec I believe.
