Looking for advice, I have a 2012 Pro 163" with a SLP Stage 4 Kit. I also have a C3 SychroDrive belt drive. Looking to change my track. I find that I am chain sawing through the snow and trenching more with the Stage 4. I am thinking that I need a taller lug track. What do you all recommend? I am open to all options.

Personally as much as I highly recommend the SLP Stage kits (I run one myself)...I don't think it adds enough power to validate a taller lug track (I'm assuming you want to go 3"?

With the weight and more bite of a 3" you will feel like your down on power in my experience.

In any case it could be a suspension set up issue. Are you running a stock set up?

I respectfully disagree.

I would go with the 3" in a heartbeat. Having the C3 you could regear IF you feel it's necessary.

The only thing I changed in my suspension was to put in Fox Evol shocks, but the suspension set up has not been changed since the Stage 4 kit went in. It did not trench like this last year.

We rode on Friday and my buddy's 155" 14 Pro would climb next to my track and he would trench 6 to 12" and my trench was 2.5 to 4 feet deep.

I wasn't thinking as aggressive as 3" maybe 2.75" at the most.
