TRA Button retainers

Im gonna take apart my TRA clutch and want to know if theres something else I can use instead of going to skidoo and buying the button retainers. I just know up here there gonna charge me at least $40 bucks. Anyone got any good ideas?? Many thanks

You can order them from slp if it makes any difference.

I bought a set prob 6 years ago, used them a couple times and went back to useing "my fingers" The retainers are a PIA in my opinion.

If you're just doing your own clutch once in a while you don't really need them...they make it easier but not that difficult without them, just do one set at a time, get them started and move on to the next set. I messed with the TRA for years before I got the clips.
