Saw this over on Hardcoresledder. Guy wanted to know why he was blowing belts. I have never seen anything like it. Thought you all might get a good laugh. This was off of an '03 600 Rev. Not Mine!!

I'm sure I've seen those same pics a few years back. the ones I saw were taken by a dealership mechanic, someone brought the sled in.
 
I run a ported chaincase, this ported clutch will be my next mod. You gotta love light weight.
 
WOW!!! That is UNREAL. Those had to be some HARD miles.....or he was using a chainsaw chain for a belt....how did it not explode:confused:.....I got 9400 on my 07, I replaced my clutch because of a groove in the sheeve....not anywhere near THAT bad though :eek:

engine wouldnt hold rpm /new clutch kit


so what is wrong with this,the guy is just trying to get ride of some pin weight,
note,no pins weights in primary,still wouldnt rpm so he???

For those of you that cant tell the rear clutch face is completely gone. Your looking at the starter gear.
