TOBE Technology is going out of business :(

Well it seems that this recession is a worldwide affair. TOBE Technology in Sweden filed bankruptcy a few months ago. As the distributor for TOBE in the USA we are/were doing ok. Obviously this sucks and is not what we wanted but it is what it is. We can't say we didn't see it coming either. Although the Swedes made some awesome looking and very quality gear, they focused too much on their own image and lifestyle and not enough on business.

So what this means is we have some gear to get rid of at HUGE discounts (cost or below) on ebay or you can call us at 800-993-TOBE. Also, the gear is owned by us at Alticity Films, an American based business. So while I did import this gear, it is paid for and owned by us so your money won't be leaving the country. It will stay here and be used in the USA (paying bills most likely)!

While some may say this should be in the swap meet, I find this to be quite newsworthy to the General Snowmobiling Community.

Thanks to all of you who have supported us over the last 5 years. ESPECIALLY our fantastic dealers. Michelle and I GREATLY appreciate it. We had a great time. I hope to continue to stay involved in the sled industry, but in these times, who knows what the future holds.

I hear you. I just don't want anyone to get shafted like I did in this whole deal. It is possible that he may send you some new pants if he replies to you. He is not a bad guy at all, he is quite nice actually. He just made some bad and untimely decisions.

We don't. I ordered some from TOBE in may and they never got produced. We just recommend going to a sled shop and buying a white troy lee visor if yours breaks. Its the same visor without the graphics.

I don't think so Veedy. It's a possibility albeit a very unlikely one.
Still plan to release a greatest hit/rider interview flick this fall but thats it. I have been doing some freelance filming and editing in and out of the industry and really enjoy it.
