If only people who were ACTUALLY, and CURRENTLY using C3 or or TKI belt drives posted, it would eliminate most of the people posting in this thread.
Neither hearsay nor having a box of uninstalled belt drive parts qualifies anyone to give an opinion on either belt drive being discussed. If you don't have an aftermarket belt drive on a Pro then simply refrain from posting.
Lastly, many of people posting in this thread have given their opinion on other brands sleds, in the other brands forums, even though they themselves have never owned or ridden said sled. The hypocrisy is strong in this thread.

That is a pretty tough set of rules you want to live by there... Do you abide by those rules on all the forums? I suspect enforcing something so rediculous on an internet forum would absolutely limit the discussions, and probably kill the forums altogethter.
Many of us have Pro's and are interested in gathering information. Just because I do not own one yet (aftermarket drive) doesn't mean that the information I have found is uselss or should be ignored. I suspect some of this is in reference to my post... I simply found some disconcerting information about one of the vendors being discussed. Which brand sled said vendors parts were fitted too is irrelevent. I found VENDOR issues I would want cleared up before spending nearly $1000 with either one of them.
My concern was that someone might mistakenly take all their advice from this one biased and apperantly hypocritical thread. Was that really so far off Mr. Rulemaker?

I have a C3 and it is the best. That's my opinion, my facts, my reality. If that is different from your opinion because you think your facts are closer to reality than my facts then you need to spend more time listening carefully to your lawyer as he explains his opinion on what are the facts and reality of your divorce case and what he expects your ex and her lawyer will present as facts and reality.
Then (because it's your first time) you go to court fully confident ('cause you really didn't listen to your lawyer 's opinion of how the reality and facts can viewed as in fact, not facts or reality because of someones opinion) and sit in front of a judge (who is placed in this position to sort out the opinions, facts and reality into what in his opinion are actually the opinions, facts or reality) who , in his opinion, thinks you are disrespectful of his position because you came straight from work and didn`t dress correctly for his court room while your gorgeous ex comes dressed to the nines because she did listen to her lawyer`s opinion on how the facts and reality should be presented to sway the opinion of the judge, who it reality, creates the facts.
When you walk out you really are lost for a bit as you try to comprehend how opinion can skew the facts of your reality. All the emotions go through you and slowly you mature and understand that reality and facts are really just your opinion and someone else's opinion is just as much facts and reality to them. It just takes a judge`s opinion on who`s reality is in fact the fact`s in the reality.
Second time around lol., you are much more stoic and you come dressed for the reality of accepting someones opinion of the facts as reality because, with more experience and maturity now, you have finally realized, opinions or facts from the past or someone else are not as important as the reality of who your sleeping with tonight.

Round 2?? lol. Round 3 is over too? Funny thing is she is the only one that is still angry with me.
It all about maturity IMO lol. She couldn't handle when I stayed calm during our "discussions" about opinions because she thought it was discussions about facts and reality.
I think her last words to me were " So you love your sled more than me?" Oh Boy here it comes lol. I think my last words to her were " I just like to ride babe." Wrong answer in her opinion.

C3 or TKI, both great products with above average support. Both use CNC machines to make the parts. Both anodize the parts. Both can use the same brand of belt.
I picked C3 because they are close. I phoned and they were out of stock. So I picked TKI for the price. Then the price got closer but there was also a delay with TKI because of a design change. Then my son phoned me and asked if I wanted him to pick up a C3 set-up on his way home. I phoned, it was there, I got it.
So IMO the best belt kit is in fact the one that is really in stock.
Weather system change coming this week. Hope this is in fact reality and not remain the opinion of the weather channel.

I geared it to a 2.17 ratio and am trying 2.25 currently. Stock clutching. Seriously it rips more than last year stock. Works better for holding side hills and working through the nasty trees. Being able to gear down was key for me. You get better flotation with more precise throttle control!

Good to see another company jumping on board with this upgrade. both great looking kits. I read through and not sure if I missed it but I would like to know the actual weights of the C3 vs the TKI for the retro 11/12 upgrade kit. which one is lighter and by how much? Anyone know?
