Tire question....diameter?

I am currently running P 245 75 R16
I am installing 17" rims.
What 17" tire will have the same O.D?
Want to keep speedo accurate etc.

I wish I still had 16" wheels. The new GMs come with 17" and it really cuts down on the tire choices, and the price goes way up because of availibility. Just my .02

If you are wanting to stay with the 245 width, a 245, 70, 17 would be the same. If its a chevy, i doubt the spedo is accurate in the first place. I put bigger tires on mine (285 65 18) and although the speedo should be 11% off, it is only off 6% when checked with the gps. I have a tuner for mine and the ability to adjust the tire size but choose not to because it is nice to drive 1000 miles with only putting 950 on the odometer.

I have a set of 4 brand new Goodyear Wrangler R/T S that I bought for my Expedition that I am selling. These have never been on a rim. I sold the Expedition before I had a chance to mount them. They retail for around $650, I would like to get $400 for them.

Oh yah, size might help, they are 265 75R 17
