Time for a new helmet. What do you like?

For the last several years my whole family has been wearing the KLIM F4 helmets and loving them. But this year I am switching over to the newer better-fitting lighter F3. The difference is STRIKING in fit and weight!

Actually I'm fairly certain the F3 is NOT lighter than the F4.

Just bought my second Airoh....super light!

Absolutely love these helmets.

Anyone know what sizes Klim come in? My HJC is a 3x. Kinda like wearing a bowling ball compared to the new stuff. I tried on a few other ones and have not got to Klim yet. I like flat black.

I just heard of this helmet two days ago. Made in Italy I believe. The dealer told me it's a motocross helmet. Does that make a difference for snowmobiling?

Yes Airoh are made in Italy but you cannot order from them directly. You have to order from a retailer like Chromeburner as I posted.

As a motocross type helmet it breathes very well but not too much. Unless its really cold I normally ride without a balaclava and my head doesn't get cold.

Every time someone picks up this helmet they cannot believe how light it is.

Has anyone tried the new ckx yet I bought one but am waiting for it to be shipped but it's light and comes with goggles and removable muzzle

Has any body ever had a helmet shootout based on head shape? My forehead is aerodynamically shaped and I have hard time finding a helmet with enough forehead padding to hold the helmet up. With all of the helmets out there where would I go besides a snow show to try them all on?

My first suggestion is to try on as many as possible and look for what fits "you" the best. Everyone is different and everyone has different ideas and thoughts on what fits the best for them.

Last time I updated helmets, I ended up going with a Troy Lee Designs' SE-3 and it's been a great helmet!!

I went up to Bobs in Minneapolis to try on lids. I ended up ordering a Just1. Just got it the other day.... Freaking sweet. Light and comfy!!!!
