On high-intensity days, he lifts 80 percent of his maximum weight doing exercises such as the bench press, the shoulder press and squats.-hate to piss on yours and Tiger parade, but all the guys I know who work out and are serious about working out follow this type of routine or one even more intense. Most switch 6 weeks endurance, 6 weeks gains. So nothing super special about Tigers work out. Hell before I had kids, I was working out like that.
am simply saying that Tiger was hands down the best and most dominate athlete last year. He played against professionals all year round and still dominated- do me a favor and youtube David Knight...now he is a dominant athlete. Rides chit that makes mx on it's worse day look easy and nobody can touch the guy. His riding takes physical and mental.
Yes motocross mabye more physcially demanding in a sense, but NO where near the mind stress you undergo in golf.-moto maybe, and that's a stretch not as mental as golf...again youtube gncc racing or Last Man Standing. Off road dirt bike racing...the terrain is all types of soil on skinny skinny paths, going fast over roots, rocks, logs, mud, etc all while thinking 8 steps ahead and reacting in split seconds...not taking 10 minutes to line up a putt or judge a iron shot with the aid of a caddy who has walked and memorized every lay on the course. Dirt biking presents an ever changing course so you must always be thinking. All the while with a heart rate of 120 or more.
To completley clear your head before a crucial shot is not easy -now imagine having a clear head for 2 plus hours while winding down said trails and worrying about yourself and 30 other guys...
