Tiger Woods - Shutting it down for year with broken leg and torn knee ligament

Anyone else notice he was only wincing after he made a bad shot? It also didn't stop him from doing the Chicken Dance on 18 on Sunday after he tied it.

Listen, I know the guy is the best golfer to ever set foot on a course. I realize and appreciate that, but the theatrics of this whole injury and the media fawning over it just about made me want to puke.

Adrenaline does amazing things sometimes.

Chubby are you in love with Tiger?? I mean Damn I have never seen anyone defend someone like this. Dude Just ask him to marry you and get it over with!!

Rick Ryan won the Daytona SX with a wood screw thru his boot into his knee brace to hold it from turning because the hole knee was shot in the 90's All kinds of stroys like that!! I also races the 2nd moto after I riped out my ACL and cartlage in the first moto because there was points to be made and I was in the hunt for the Championship so I HAD to do it.

Some people can just deal with pain better than others, I am glad I can.

Racing, golfing, screwing  , whatever can be done w/ an ACL injury. But you risk more, maybe permanent, damage if it's not healed. He's obviously doing the right thing to get it fixed. His goal is to be the best. By best, I mean 19 majors (only 5 away).

I'd bet Tigers "threashold of pain" is higher than most of us. Of course, not many would admit it.

There's a difference between tough and stupid tough, I think you RLG, are stupid tough. :face-icon-small-win:D

I don't even like Tiger, but I know where to give credit when credit is due. I cheer for Lefty, because I like the risk takers. I was hoping Rocco would beat Tiger, but after I heard the severity of his injury, I was more impressed with him. The guy accomplished something very few people in this world have been able to do, and he did 1 good leg.

Try hitting 500 balls in one day, and tell me how your back feels in the morning. Now do that everyday of your life. The twisting in your back, and knees is a lot more than people think. Tiger swings his club at 128mph. I'd be suprised if anybody on here can swing over 100. I saw a thing on him once where he hit a bad shot in a tournament, so after he was done playing, he went back to the spot where he hit his shot, and hit 1000 balls from the same place, just in case he had to do it again. That's dedication to the sport.

It's hardly a sport, Sports requires athletes, not goofy pants and a fat azz!

Thats some funny stuff.
I'd spend sunday working on my sled while my b---ch is out earning my money on the golf course.

Quoting Happy Gilmore: "If I wore pants like that, I'd have to kick my own a$$!!" "Gold Jacket, Green Jacket..who gives a $hit!!";)

As for Tiger Woods, I don't really care for him..He's a whiny b!tch that has all the money in the world, hot wife, and a beautiful baby girl-and still b!tches! Not a fan of people that whine and complain, cuz your life ain't that bad..On the count of him winning the championship..good for him, great athlete who does stay mentally tough. But then again, I can name off a dozen or so guys/gals that stay mentally tough with injuries and still win... Watch the movie 199 Lives with TP in it, and you'll get what I mean..:D Or Brian Deegans movie..:D

Wow, it's obvious you don't watch Tiger or many of today's golfers. He trains more than many pro athletes.

This fat azz (w/ goofy pants):
