Man it was good yesterday. The afternoon light gave Ray an oportunity to hone his photography skills.

Next time we have to share the photographer duties with Ray. Not fair that he gets all those excellent action shots of us and we have none of him.

Coming to you from La Fortuna, Costa Rica. Frickin' awesome down here. Beaches are unreal, and right now I'm looking at the most active Volcano in the Central America. SWEET! Going zip lining today, then surfing and deep sea fishing in a few days. BOOYA! See ya'll in a week or so.

Parking on the Mesa

You can park at the Vistor center or the new parking lot West of Grand Mesa Lodge. The Park Ranger said it was ok to park in these area as long you do not hender plow operations. So I would be prepared to move if needed.

Grand Mesa 1/4/09

Happy New Year to All.

Just returned from or trip to the Mesa and we hit the snow and conditions just right. As they say ya better off lucky than good. We rode every day and even had the enjoyment of going 2 1/2 miles in 4 hours digging out 6 or 7 times for each sled. Oh Ken that was a great short cut, and the Snow Was Chest Deep Standing. Several days of Epic Riding.
I also had the great opportunity to go grooming one evening, and let me tell you the groomers put a lot of time and effort into the job they do for us all Many Thanks
We would also like to pass on that the accommodations at Grand Mesa Lodge where great again. Not the Hyatt put GREAT PEOPLE and way relaxing.
Love the new Doo, she’s broke in now and getting the magic treatment from Dale Can’t wait.
Best part of the trip was I got to drop tools on Ken and see him with hydraulic oil on his face. Priceless

Once again another primo day on the Mesa. Ray I owe you big time! Except you made my choice for a new sled that much harder. The M8 was as good as it gets and the M1000 was almost so much fun it should be illegal.
Rode all day in untracked and hardly saw any other riders!!
Is this a great country or what?!

We are headed up this weekend, will have my 13 yr old and another couple if anyone wants to hook up let Farmer or I know!!! Could always come to the cabin for a beer after your ride if nothing else
